Filling the Voids in Pickleball: The Birth of Florida Pickleball Leagues (FPLI)

We were frustrated with the voids that existed in pickleball. So, with determination and vision, we embarked on a transformative journey. Drawing inspiration from the success of the East Valley Interclub League (EVIL), Greg Mather and a passionate team of volunteers founded the Arizona Pickleball Players League (APPL) in 2012. APPL revolutionized the pickleball landscape, introducing an organized and team-based format that captured the hearts of more than 3,000 players across Arizona.

Now, armed with the same spirit of innovation, we proudly introduce Florida Pickleball Leagues, Inc. (FPLI), replicating the success and joy of team-style play for the pickleball enthusiasts of the Sunshine State.
